14-Bit or 8-Bit, 2.8 GB/s 4U Rackmount Signal Recording Systems

The 14-bit or 8-bit 2.8 GB/s 4U rackmount signal recorder is a high-performance PC workstation with an integrated high-speed HDD storage array.

The chassis front features 48 removable 2.5" drive bays used for the system 48 TB HDD storage array.

The chassis rear features two removable 2.5" drive bays (one is used for the 1 TB OS drive), I/O slots, ports and power cord connectors to the redundant 960W auto-switching power supply unit.

Internally, the chassis features four 80 mm hot-swappable cooling fans directly behind the front drive bays and in front of the system motherboard for system cooling.

The system includes two high-performance Intel Xeon 2.1 GHz 6-Core CPUs and 32 GB of system memory. The system motherboard features a total of six dedicated bandwidth PCIe slots.

The 2.8 GB/s 4U rackmount signal recorder is configured for 14-bit resolution sampling capabilities with included two Signatec PX14400(A/D/D2)-DR model PCIe digitizer cards; featuring two analog input channels with a maximum A/D sampling rate of 400 MS/s per channel per card. The acquisitions of the two digitizer cards are synchronized with the Signatec SYNC1500.

Alternatively, the 2.8 GB/s 4U rackmount signal recorder is configured for 8-bit resolution sampling capabilities with included two Signatec PX1500-4-DR model PCIe digitizer cards; featuring four analog input channels with a maximum A/D sampling rate of 1.5 GS/s per channel per card. The acquisitions of the two digitizer cards are synchronized with the Signatec SYNC1500.

The system includes Windows Scope App software for full digitizer operations, conducting and monitoring signal recordings, and displaying previously recorded data files. Software Development Kit for C++, with full API and complete commented source code for Scope App and examples, is also included at no additional charge.
