Product Overview
Signatec's new X-PORT is a multi-port communications module with a customizable FPGA that can be plugged onto the PMP1000 to provide all around flexibility for general purpose communications with:
● RJ45 Connectors for Gigabit Ethernet and RS232● Definable 26-pin Digital I/O Header with Direct
Pin Connections to Onboard FPGA
● Open Source Virtex-4 FX-12 FPGA with Power PC
● Logic Files Provided for Interfacing to PMP1000 Board
The X-Port module allows for position, time and/or any general purpose data to be combined with the analog signal capture record. Other possible uses include remote system monitoring via the GbE connection, making the X-PORT an ideal component for RADAR and net-centric applications (just to name a few). Below is an example of a typical X-PORT application.
