High-Speed Signal Generation / Playback
Signatec’s complete turnkey high-speed signal generation / playback systems featuring options for adding multiple digitizer channels for high-speed signal data recording and embedded real-time parallel or FPGA digital signal processing. All systems come complete with GUI based software for performing all system settings, viewing digital data (either captured or generated), performing signal recordings and playbacks as well as the option for viewing data in either time domain or frequency domain.
Signatec's GUI based signal generation playback software is used to control one or more Signatec signal generator boards, performing all system settings, viewing digital data (either captured or generated), and performing signal generation / playback. Software includes PC based Oscilloscope and Playback Scope Application, Drivers and Libraries.
Signatec's high-speed arbitrary waveform generator boards by DAC rate to 1.2 GSPS. Signatec's high-speed DAC boards have multiple channel outputs with 14-bit and 8-bit resolution. High-performance onboard VCOs feature extremely low jitter and can be synchronized to an external reference input or to the internal reference clock.
Signatec's high-speed arbitrary waveform generator boards by DAC type, with boards featuring Analog Devices 14-bit AD9736. These DACs can output data at a maximum real rate of 1.2 Gigasamples per second (GSPS). Output waveforms may be "per-trigger" or "continuously looped" from on-board RAM. The DACs can also be provided with a continuous data stream from the PC interface bus.
Signatec's high-speed signal generation DAC boards by PC I/O interface, with options of PCI Express (PCIe) x8 form factors. All of Signatec's signal generator DAC boards feature a PCI Buffered Acquisition Mode that allow them to playback data from the host PC continuously at sustained rates up to 1.2 GB/s. In short, the board's onboard memory is configured to work as a FIFO to provide ample data buffering between the PC and board for the most demanding signal generation applications.
